At the Monmouth County Division on Aging, we have long recognized the vital role that informal caregivers play in our communities and the healthcare system at large. It is through caregivers’ tireless, and often heroic efforts, that individuals with various special needs can stay at home with proper care and assistance. We’re committed to providing the information and services caregivers need.

TRUALTA
We are excited to introduce a new resource for Monmouth County Caregivers: TRUALTA!
TRUALTA is a free online learning library specifically for unpaid family caregivers that is available 24/7 and accessible from your smartphone, tablet or PC. On TRUALTA you’ll be able to find articles on topics of interest to you; access training videos for quick, hands-on learning, participate in support groups and chats that are relevant to your situation, and learn about local resources and events. Much of the content is presented in 5-7 minute segments because we know you are pressed for time. And, once you register yourself and describe your situation, content specific to your situation will be suggested for your viewing. We hope you’ll give TRUALTA a try!
